Good morning everyone I hope the weather is being kind to you all we have had some lovely weather of late pity it's not forecast to be so good this week-end, but I think we may be going to Nottingham to meet our new Grand-Daughter Poppy who was born Thursday evening weighing a healthy 6lbs 6ozs we just can't wait to meet her and I reckon her Brother and Sister will be breaking their necks to get there.
Hello everyone yes we are back at OSSC we have had a short break but are back refreshed and ready to go I was unfortunately laid up with a cracked big toe and infection and was unable to put any weight on it for a while I'm back at work but it still twangs a bit at the end of my shifts, just wait until you see the great work the teamies have done I haven't got a printer at the moment it has gone on strike. We have the pleasure to work with the lovely Patties Creations again and her images are so sweet.
Here is my card I hope you like it for this card I have used:
Hobby House Spring and Love me Paper collection, Hobby House Mo Manning Best Friend Toppers, Hobby House Sting Pearl collection, Hobby House self adhesive Pearls, Hobby House large roses and The Works small Roses, Hobby House Decorative Swirls, Fibres from my stash Tattered Rose Distressing pad, Rub on sentiments.
Good morning I hope everyone is ok in blog land we here are just Peachy as they say and I hope that stands right with you too, do you know last year I had a bumble bee nest in my garden under a footpath next to my Greenhouse ok I thought they are only here til September then they go off....... NO today I found another nest in another part of the garden. The thing is you cannot kill the bees as we need them for so many things and they don't bother you either I love them but rather they get stood on I have to put a bottle crate over them to keep them safe. Yesterday I had another play in the craft room with the intention to make something different and this is what I made, I made this for my Grand Daughter Grace who is 7 going on 30 and I'm sure you know what I mean with the kids of today.
for this I used:
A heart shaped box from Tesco,
A butterfly from the Works,
2 Ladybirds from Grimsby Crafts,
Pink string Pearls from Running with Scissors (will be in to see you soon Tracey for some more),
Ribbon and Lace from my stash,
Flowers from Wilko's,
White pearl flourishes from The Hobby House.
Happy Monday hope you are all well the weather here is now beginning to resemble SUMMER yes the words that make people smile, Sympathies also go out to the Victims and their families of the latest Tornado just in case you are all wondering what is happening over at OSCC well we are on a bit of a break. There is no need to panic though as wee are only away for a few weeks due to Shelley having Family commitments, I hope all goes well Shelley.
So seeing as I'm not making a card this week-end I thought I would turn my hand to something different for a change, I have so much odds and ends Jewelery making wise and as it's just made it's way to the craft room I just had to make something so here they are let me know what you think, I think the colour of this is Antique Gold and the main bit of the necklace was re-cycled from an old one.
