I think I'm back!

Sorry I have not been around of late I have been having a few problems with Google and my passwords which came about by getting a tablet for my birthday in October and trying to register it to Google. So I am going to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year now just in case I can't get back as I now have to try and get the password to go on my main computer. Take care everyone

To the Bride and Groom

Well hello everyone I hope you are all having a good day what is happening with the sky there is just nothingness about it, this is really the onset of Autumn, thank you all for your lovely comments I really do like to hear from you all and that means quite a lot. Today I thought I would share my second wedding card it too is based on a design I saw in March of this year on a challenge blog called Scrapping Everyday Miracles I love this layout I have used it quite a lot and there is one more to go of this design but they are all done differently this is made for a friends wedding and she wanted it based on Midnight blue the lady I made it for was really pleased with the result and yes I have been playing with the melt pot again.

For this card I have used:
Kaisercraft DP from Porcelain collection (precious P1164)
Lace
Gems
Pearls, cage and metal corner from the hobby house
Creative Expressions (Dreamy Sentiments) stamp
Wild Rose Mr and Mrs stamp
hand made heart
Doiley
Flowers and bride and groom sentiment from my stash.
The butterfly is the oldest thing on this card it must be at least 3year old (oops)

Diamond Wedding

Firstly I would like to wish my Aunty and Uncle who have been married for 60 years can you imagine it what a great journey and tales they must have. Secondly I would like to say hello and thank you to everyone who visits me and leave such lovely comments, am I mad or what as I like the ones that bring you back down to earth too. I made this car for my Aunt and Uncle I didn't see them open it so I hope they liked it. I am either getting very tight (not spending any money) or I have got too much stuff so I used this Ribbon that I have had for months and the heart doiley is at least 2 years old just trying to remember when Dawn Bibby brought out these tiny Peel-offs out,  usually I steer clear of white on white but I came across this lady who inspired me enough to try it I hope she doesn't mine me taking this inspiration her name is Chrissey Stokes so here is my take on it:

I have used
Nellie Snellen's Heart Dies
Spellbinder's flower Dies
Cheery Lynn Dies
Peel offs
Gems
Ribbon and card from stash

and this is where I have been inspired:

Minnie Mouse

This is one of the cards that has been keeping me busy I was asked for a card with Minnie Mouse on by my friend at work she thinks she's setting me challenges :) after I sort of went eeek I remembered my dust covered Cricut sitting in my cupboard (along with with all it's sister stuff), No problem says I then she says can you put this on it & that still no problem and the best part I didn't have to go running out to buy stuff as it was all in my stash and I darn t put an age on it either just that it's over a year! so here is what I came up with.

Inside (this is an Easel card)

For this card I have used:
Mickey Mouse and Friends Cricut cartridge
Silver Mirri
Card Candi from Craftwork cards
Ribbon from Mai flowers
Computer words
Spellbinders circle Die
DP from Docrafts.

This is where I have been inspired:

Minnie Magnets

Hello everyone I hope you are all keeping well thank you for all your lovely comments they are very welcoming, sorry I haven't been around just lately but I had some commissioned work to do and it was a little time consuming and I still have one or two left to do. I will share some of my favorites over the next few days, I will start with a couple (7) of magnets of different little girls that was a little challenging but well worth it.

For these I used
The smallest Oval from the Grand Nestabilities
Spellbinders lacy oval
Pearls from Hobby House.

Good evening everyone where ever in the world you are I hope you are all keeping well, I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments you have been leaving.

Spots and Dots and a Goodbye

Well good morning everyone in blog land hope you are all keeping well I am still reeling over the news that OSCC is closing down and although I wasn't partaking in this challenge it only seemed fitting I should join Shelley and the Team in the FINAL challenge which is SPOTS and DOTS, the lovely sponsor is:

For this card I tried to do something that was using the sponsors papers and say goodbye to One Stop Craft Challenge at the same time because if Shelley hadn't given me the chance to challenge myself and others I would still be sat here watching, as I didn't think my work was good enough being my own worst critic and she proved me wrong. I have as you all know been pushing myself to try something different with craft stash and I have made this a digi card printing off the artwork and matting it onto a blank card so here is my card:

For this card I have used:
Sponsor freebie DP
OSCC Badge (used twice, one upside down for the border)
Craft Artist 2
Card blank, blue backing card
Flat back mini pearls from the Hobby House (my addiction)

This is where I'm challenging it:

Hello everyone just a note to let you all know I am keeping well as I am hoping you all are too and another thank you to you all for your lovely comments, they are very special.

This week at OSCC the challenge is a very good one and some people including myself sometimes struggle with it (in fact I was going to miss out this challenge due to this fact) but I thought about it and realized that it doesn't have to be hard and can be fun too. I seemed to have wondered off the challenge which is being sponsored by the lovely Fred She Said and the challenge is     KEEP It SIMPLE
So here is my card I don't think the recipe list has been so short!
for this card I have used the sponsor image - Paper Pricking Pattern - Frame and Florish

Make your own background

Happy Monday everyone hope you all had a great week-end I know I did we had the oldest 2 Grand children again this week-end (we must be doing something right!) it was lovely we went to Cleethorpes to watch the Parade they have decided to keep running, then we watched a film. On Sunday we mended stuff that they had found broken including a skip and hop that Grace had bought on Saturday, we then baked some cakes for the party at School on the Monday followed by a walk in the woods at the back of the park across the road from my house finished by a yummy Chicken dinner and Strawberry surprise then home. We had just left home when we saw my Daughter coming down the road with the Taylor our littlest Grand son so we had to get back for him as he sleeps every Sunday until tea time Mondays as both Parents work full time.

Now on to our lovely Challenge at OSCC in case you didn't know it's just for fun this week and no Sponsor we just thought it would be fun to see what you came up with by making your own BACKGROUND I was racking my brain to what I could do, do I stamp and glitter or add Micro powders? Do I draw it, Paint it then the light bulb went on lets try that Embossing and Waxing technique I also thought about trying something called triptych so let me know what you think.

For this card I have used:
Kanban Roses from the Hobby House

Add a Tag ......

Hello everyone I'm sorry it's half way through the week before I blogged but everything has been going mad here we had a lovely week-end weather wise Saturday was Armed Forces Day, it seems everyone turned out for it but by the time we had finished work got changed and went down to the beach it had finished. So after a short stroll along the beach went home to enjoy the rest of the sunshine only to get a call to say that our new Mummy was in Hospital and she is still in it's been really worrying for us all as we haven't been able to pop down to see her yet due to work commitments.

This week-end was the start of a new challenge at OSCC  the challenge is ADD a TAG and as usual it's not a hard task only for me as I don't do Tags they are one of my worst nightmares as I never know what to do with one, but I think I may have pulled this one out of the bag, I saw a show on Create and Craft with Mel were she made a tag I thought I liked it so much I would have a go mine was done on MDF blank that I got off my friend Sue ( you really should pop over and see her) were her's was done on card. Our lovely Sponsor this week is Fred She Said

but I am still without a printer and had to go without a sponsored image I hope you like what I have done with the tag.
For this tag I have used:
An  MDF blank tag shape ( thanks sue)
Various papers that have been in my stash for ever,
A black Copic pen for the edges
The inchy was also one of Sue's,

a Gift for Grace

Good morning I hope everyone is ok in blog land we here are just Peachy as they say and I hope that stands right with you too, do you know last year I had a bumble bee nest in my garden under a footpath next to my Greenhouse ok I thought they are only here til September then they go off....... NO today I found another nest in another part of the garden. The thing is you cannot kill the bees as we need them for so many things and they don't bother you either I love them but rather they get stood on I have to put a bottle crate over them to keep them safe.  Yesterday I had another play in the craft room with the intention to make something different and this is what I made, I made this for my Grand Daughter Grace who is 7 going on 30 and I'm sure you know what I mean with the kids of today.
for this I used:
A heart shaped box from Tesco,
A butterfly from the Works,
2 Ladybirds from Grimsby Crafts,
Pink string Pearls from Running with Scissors (will be in to see you soon Tracey for some more),
Ribbon and Lace from my stash,
Bassil card,
Flowers from Wilko's,
White pearl flourishes from The Hobby House.

Anything Goes with Kenny K

Hello everyone what sort of Week-end are we going to get this week I wonder? I'm expecting a fairly quiet one here, the only child we'll see will be Taylor when he comes to sleep and he's no bother.
At work we was getting ready for a re-launch of the store so there was a lot of stress from the Managers a little excitement of how it would go, the the big day came the Store was ready Staff all dressed in their new uniforms (mine Chef's shirt, trilby and Orange apron) and looks like I'll be getting it for a while "you've been Tango'd". Sorry when off it then so the big day is here and they opened the doors as normal NO Ant and Dec NO ribbon to cut just a normal trading day, what a let down .......... BUT we did get a free buffet.

We have the challenge that everyone loves this week-end over at OSCC along with one of my favourite Sponsors yes it's ANYTHING GOES and the lovely Sponsor is KENNY K

So here is my card for this I have used:
a Pre-coloured Kenny K image from the Hobby House (Madison Attitude)
DP from Craftwork Cards (retired I think)
Flower ribbon, beige bows, 14mm Rhinestone Sparklers - Paradise Crystal. (all from Hobby House)
Flowers and Gems from my stash
